All technical issues should be posted on the page. While Jeremy and I will work to help you in class, you will undoubtedly have to troubleshoot several issues over the course of the semester. These might include: a module that is not working correctly, PHP or sever-related errors, issues with getting a view to work how you like or a CSS issue that is driving you crazy. As mentioned in the opening session, technical issues will not be dealt with over private email to the instructor – they should be posted here as a public resource. You will receive marks for your contribution to this resource over the course of the semester (as an issue-reporter, and in helping peers resolve issues). Additionally, if you post tutorials here (e.g. how to use a module to create a neat view) you will also receive marks.
To make a new request for tech support create a new page (don't forget to put your name at the top) write up/document your issue and then post a link on this page (I have it set to auto-notify me when changes to this page are made) and will try to offer input within 36 hours. For reference: here is an example tech support post and tutorial post from last semester.
